In Bijnor district, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Jha conducted a surprise late-night inspection of major Kanwar Yatra routes to assess security arrangements and ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims.

The inspection covered the key Kanwar Yatra routes falling under the Nagina, Dhampur, and Najibabad police circles. During the visit, SP Abhishek Jha reviewed police deployment, traffic regulation, night patrolling, and crowd management measures that have been put in place for the annual pilgrimage.

Security Measures Strengthened for Kanwar Yatra

During the inspection, the Superintendent of Police checked whether officers and police personnel were present at their designated duty points. The surprise visit confirmed that officers and security staff were performing their assigned responsibilities and maintaining vigilance along the Kanwar Yatra routes.
